This handsome fellow is a duck design posted on YouTube by Dylan Gylenas. Dylan was frequently posting some of these "next level" style balloons there, but has since stopped and is focusing on his "Slightly Twisted" balloon business, while still occasionally publishing a detailed decor PDF on his website there.
This is actually a pretty quick and fairly easy bird to make, but visually effective since it's so colorful. I tried adding a little bit of eye outlining and tried something different with the feet.

Got to remember the feet, those are great! Tried making this when I'd been doing balloons about 2 months. Got it done but it didn't look ANYTHING like this work of art!
ReplyDeleteDylan really is amazing, I've learned a lot from his designs - the feet are similar to Nao's shamrock (outer ring that gets pulled in).
