January 24 - Bibbin

Bibbin is a DeviantArtist from Australia that had one of my favorite type of art commissions "Surprise me!" 🔥

This six legged, slavering, viciously spiked razor boar is territorial, but despite the apparent fierce demeanor quite docile unless threatened.  The serrated spikes on it's back are prized by the Anpak tribes, considered sacred to the people and used in many spiritual ceremonies.  It is a rite of passage into manhood for a young warrior to prove either his mettle in battle or his harmony with nature to fetch one of the spears.

January 22 - Mercurysfox

Mercurysfox is a DeviantArtist from Sweden who dressed up our pig today.

This big fellows skin is grotesque in all the right ways, like the insect creature from Men In Black, you can practically feel it hanging loosely on him.  He's tied the balloons to himself, not in any absurd attempt at floating - but like Baron Harkonnen, just to offset his enormous girth to move around.

March 26 - Marvin Hardy

I had the pleasure of meeting Marvin Hardy once at Bling Bling Jam where he gave a talk about his life and career in balloons, he was a pioneer, instrumental in making balloon art what it is today, one of the Old Gods - and the world is poorer for his passing.

I wasn't planning on posting this, I was just doodling when I got the news - but it seemed appropriate to share.

December 8 - PPAkee

PPAkee is a DeviantArtist who had a JRPG styled sample and proposed building out pig in this same style.

The JRPG style is 100% on point, I could see this on a sign in a store as characters are walking by, like it's the latest Funko toy on the market, or an advertisement for a grape soda.

December 7 - popadorabledoesart

There is a "weird" to popadorabledoesart's DeviantArt gallery that let me know this would be a fantastic commission.  This is "Pinned to Spot".

Instead of spikes coming out ... they are stabbing him.  But look at that happy expression, this is a good boy.  This guy just defended his owner from a porcupine attack and those trusses up top are to keep the quills from going deeper into the ear canals while he's getting helped.

That'll do pig.   That'll do.

December 6 - gytfu

gytfu is a Canadian DeviantArtist that had a fantastic idea to make some sort of animal hybrid.  I suggested that I wasn't sure if it should be a Oinktopus or an Octopig - and they ended up creating both..

This is the kind of Dr. Moreau hybridization I could get behind.  The Octopig has fully grow goateentacles.

December 5 - KuffinsUniverse

KuffinsUniverse is a DeviantArtist from the United States that had a fun YCH of your character eating cereal and enough fun samples of characters to know it would be delicious.  

That's a bowl of Nozzle-O's, fortified with vitamins B and Q.
