March 8 - Iso Octopi

"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever."

~ Jacques Cousteau

An octopus is... grotesque.

Sure it's been humanized in documentaries, but it's a slimy eight-tentacled brain creature that I'm convinced gave H.R. Geiger night terrors before he started drawing to settle his nerves.

Just imagine an octopus reaching out and slipping a suckered tentacle around your arm and latching on.  Then you freak out and shake your arm, trying to get it off, and BAM - you're in a Loony Toons cartoon.  Happens every episode.

(okay -- AND they are cool too, but in a "that's a colorful spider" way. Keep it away from me.)

At this point, Isopresso has been making tutorials for a while. He has covered designs for beginners, realistic styles, animated cuteness, and in some cases explored all these approaches for a single animal.  Here are four that he shows on his main channel in increasing detail and complexity.
