What I've been appreciating about these advanced tutorials is they aren't just "a bird" - they're specific creatures, each with a distinct shape and identity.
This one uses the Kingfisher-style build from Isopresso, but I rounded the body a bit and adjusted the palette to better match the tody.
Todies are tiny, tropical birds found only in the Caribbean, around the size of a hummingbird. But unlike their nectar slurping cousins, todies are insectivores - hopping through the underbrush and pouncing on bugs like tiny predators or ... hyperactive cats?
