~ Blue's Clues Steve checking in (link)
Steve checking in on us 25 years later? … I need a moment to pull myself together here.
In our household, we actually watched Blue’s Clues a little out of order. Joe was our guy for the longest time. Honestly, the change was so complete that we didn’t even know Steve existed until we started catching reruns (this was back in the pre-"everything-all-at-once" days).
For these balloons, I’ve been experimenting again with the David Brenn Loopy Headz idea. The thought occurred "dog breeds?" .. and although you can modify ears and nose and proportions, I feel like you have pretty much the same generic 'dog' face in different colors. The first thing that came to mind was Underdog.
I ran into some trouble getting Underdog’s ears to sit right, especially with those big cheeks, but I kind of like how it gives him an action pose. As for Pluto, his cheeks should probably be a bit smaller to let the ears lay flatter, but I’m happy with how they turned out.
