September 1 - Two-Faced Clown

The first exercise for September is a balloon concept by David Brenion called Two Faced Table Top Decor (link). The Brenion's are amazing innovators in the balloon world, and this is a unique concept of creating a centerpiece for a table that looks good from both sides.

David's videos are always well produced and definitely worth it - full of ideas and extra insight.  In this he shows a great way to create a sturdy stand cheaply enough that you wouldn't mind leaving it on site.  I wasn't able to find the exact parts he used, but it was easy enough to adapt to what I was able to find.

The first design is of a clown, and instead of building another clown with different features, I decided to try for a mime - after some trial and error I came up with a beret that I liked.  The second side of that balloon was an attempt at a completely black and white face.
