March 30 - Older Fellas


This old man, he plays one
He plays knick knack on my thumb
With a knick knack paddy wack
Give a dog a bone
This old man comes rolling home

These older guys are using Patrick Van de Ven's Little Guy balloon concept.

This one uses some of the enhancements he shows in the PDF. He demonstrates how to make the guy with the red shirt, and I thought I would try to make a couple others.

The first additional guy is in green, and I didn't really have a plan.  I grabbed the balloons I needed that were in my "extra bits" pile. ... and I think if anything that it's evident I need a plan. He looks okay, but he's just a plain guy. I should have put a cowboy hat on him, or a a fishing rod in his hand or something.

It was while building that one that I was imagining how one might make an old geezer. At first I was going to put him in a track suit, but ended up just leaving him in his sweat pants. I realize he looks nothing like the old man from Up, but that's the house that came to mind when I thought "get off my lawn!".
