June 3 - Ukuleles

Going with the theme "We are instruments of peace", these are the centerpieces I created for the teacher appreciation breakfast.  The original idea was to come up with a variety of instruments, but that was scrapped for the rainbow idea.  It would have taken a good amount of time to come up with a nice variety of instruments that were all similar sized.  But once I had built the prototype, I was able to watch some videos while completing the rest in an assembly line fashion.

This ukulele is a design that Dylan Gelinas teaches on his YouTube channel (link).  I've used a number of Dylan's designs, I would go so far as to say almost every one of his videos or PDFs are fantastic and well worth learning.
